Recently, at the second meeting of the Food Additives Professional Committee of the National Food Safety Standards Review Committee, the “Food Additive Nitrous Oxide” national food safety standard drafted by the Provincial Food Inspection Institute was successfully approved.
It is understood that the meeting was organized by the National Food Safety Risk Assessment Center. The members of the Food Additive Professional Committee and unit members of the 2nd National Food Safety Standards Review Committee participated in the meeting. The experts at the meeting agreed that the "food additive nitrous oxide" is a national food safety The standard indicators are scientific and reasonable, the process argumentation is sufficiently rigorous, and the test method data is informative. It is recommended to submit for approval according to the procedures as soon as possible.
This standard is the first gas food additive quality specification standard hosted by the Provincial Food Inspection Institute. During the drafting process, the members of the drafting team fully investigated and customized multiple batches of relevant standard gases with different concentration levels to carry out a large number of methodological tests and actual sample tests, and finally formed materials for review. The passing of this national standard also indicates that the Provincial Food Inspection Institute has a strong standard and level in food safety testing.
