1. The operating room of the carbon dioxide system should be kept clean and well ventilated, with reliable lighting and communication equipment;
2. The room temperature should be kept at 0-45℃, no other items should be stored indoors, and unrelated persons should not enter;
3. The gas cylinder should be checked and weighed every 2 years. If the fire extinguishing agent is found to be reduced (1/10 of the total), it should be added immediately and recorded.
Every 5 years, check the steel cylinder for corrosion and mechanical damage, and do a hydraulic strength test according to the standard. The piping system shall be tested once every 3 years;
4. Use carbon dioxide to extinguish fires, especially when extinguishing fires in enclosed cabins such as engine rooms and cargo warehouses, sound and light alarms should be issued before rescue to confirm that all personnel have been evacuated;
5. After the fire is extinguished, personnel should be thoroughly ventilated before entering the scene to prevent suffocation accidents;
6. After using carbon dioxide to seal the cargo warehouse to extinguish the fire, do not open the cargo warehouse prematurely for inspection, otherwise the ingress of fresh air may cause the fire that has not been completely extinguished to reignite;
7. When using carbon dioxide to extinguish fires, water cannot be used to extinguish fires at the same time, because water can be combined with carbon dioxide into carbonic acid, which will reduce its fire extinguishing performance.
